CAROLINE I'm a f*****g i***t, I thought for the umpteenth time, gulping down another sip of vodka. The wine cellar floor was frozen, but I wasn't cold: with all the alcohol I had in my blood, I was drenched with sweat. I should have never, ever accepted Sean's stupid deal. What the hell was wrong with me? Agreeing to date him to see if things between us could work out? Accepting his offering was the dumbest thing I'd ever done - not that I'd done it voluntarily, of course.
