Chapter 32 : Alan, Balbal, Bungisngis, Busaw, Amalanhig III

As we flew towards the direction that Lucy and Vic made the trap, the bungisngis is really easy to outwit. It ran following us as if he really believes that we are the Alans that he’s chasing after. It was kinda funny that he actually believed us that will probably lead him to his death.
Now, I understand why each of us has different skills and abilities in our group. It’s because each of us has something to contribute to make our team better. It’s about the quotation that says ‘If one is made for the other, then ow come one is greater than the other’.
There is this person that is very good at leading us, there is this person that is very good at searching information, there is this smartest person, and there is this someone who is so strategic. It is to combine all of those to build a strong team to defeat all odds.
One thing I learned from this bungisngis is that strength is never enough, though you possess such an unusual strength than anyone, and that strength alone won’t bring us to success. We also have to be smart so that we won’t be easily fooled just like this creature. Being smart helps us to make better choices.
So as we flew towards the trap, the bungisngis kept running hastily without even thinking about it and that keeps him away from being careful and leads to his own disaster. We didn’t mind him at all, we just continued our task to lead him in the pit.
As we go passing through the pit, we heard a loud thud indicating that something fell on the ground that hard along with a deafening growl of pain that gradually subsided as the sun started to rise. And I know what that sound exactly means and what this light exactly tells us. That we’ve worked so hard and this is our success in this stage.
We all turned around and headed to where Avery, Vic, and Lucy are standing now. We can clearly see the smiles in their faces as they can’t conceal the excitement and happiness of winning. We landed in front of them, then Avery quickly negated his spell upon us and turned us back to human again.

We got notifications that we received tons of items once more right after Avery turned us back into human. After confirming it all, we heard Scarlett calling our attention and pointing towards the house of the Alans.
“Look!” she said that made us all turn around to the Alans coming towards our direction. We just looked at them as they flew towards us and stood right in front us as if they wanted to tell us something.
“Take these… for you are a good man” the one we followed said gesturing its hands where its fingers are pointed backwards. So they talk…
“Thank you so much…” Darxi said responding to the Alan “I didn’t know you talk ahahaha” he added commenting about it, just as I though too ahahaha
“Good luck with your journey” it said and then went back to its home

Now that is a lot, indeed helping really gives you a lot of blessings. Another thing I learned here, that there is no wrong in helping, it’s just that you help others with the right thing, and help others in a right way, then everything will always be right. No matter what.

We quickly hid behind a tree as we saw the others flying towards the pit that Lucy and I have made. We made it so quick that I don’t even know if I did it right, that if I made those swords stand facing upwards so that if the bungisngis falls into it, he’ll surely meet his end.
I watched over as they led the bungisngis towards the pit. It didn’t even think for a second as it saw the others flying disguised as the Alans. It just goes running to chase it, soon after he’ll die and the Alans will be safe at last without worrying about some big strong creature will bother them.
Everything happened so quick, the bungisngis fell into our trap and died. Lucy and I ran towards Avery who’s also hiding behind somewhere near us. The others flew back towards Avery too.
I am somehow like this bungisngis, I am strong yet I don’t use my mind. I don’t think before I do things. Being tough is not enough, you also have to use your brain. I used to be a basketball player, a great one. that one player who everyone looks up because I always make sure that my team always wins.
But as time goes by my head got bigger and bigger. I loved all the praises that I receive from everyone, and so I thought that I could just get everything that I want. I started acting as if I’m the toughest guy. I started intimidating people, hurting people, and bullying people. Elliot is my greatest example.
But I failed as a person, literally. Being the toughest that I believe I am, I just led myself to my own destruction. I lost real friends, I lost trust, I lost the praises, I lost in several games, it’s like I’ve lost everything. So this time, I wanted to learn to be strong and at the same time smart. This game taught me a lot from the very beginning.
I wanted to start with Elliot. Among all people, he’s the one who suffered greatly from my madness which he doesn’t deserve. Gosh, I hate myself. I hope he’ll forgive me.

I noticed the Alans came staring at us as we defeated the monster that bothers them a lot. Maybe that Alan saw us how we defeated the berbalang, the tiyanak, and the pugot. So it must have come to us and asked our help.
“Look!” Scarlett said calling our attentions that made us all turn around to the Alans coming towards our direction. We just looked at them as they flew towards us and stood right in front us as if they wanted to tell us something.
“Take these… for you are a good man” the one we followed towards this area in the forest said. Ahh they speak ahahahaha
“Thank you so much…” Darxi said responding to the Alan “I didn’t know you talk ahahaha” he added as he laughed scratching the back of his head
“Good luck with your journey” it said and then went back to its home, gosh I remember I ruined their door ahahaha I hope they’ll fix it soon. I really thought that they’re the enemy, I was wrong ahahahaha.

Wow… it’s the light sword! Now I’ve completed the three fundamental swords. I received the Null sword at level eighteen, the Dark sword at level 22, and now this one at level twenty-five. I love collecting all sorts of this. I’ve got too many swords as of now, and I’m very happy

“Now let’s go back to the village and tell the villagers about our report” Elliot said inviting us all back there
“Let me…” Reiven said as we all suddenly transported back to the village exactly at Nunong Banoy’s nipa hut by an unknown energy
“What is that?” I asked as we got here
“Teleportation…” he answered shortly
“Yea, right ahahaha” I answered and placed my sword back into my pocket
“Good… now that you’re here. People are looking for you” the lady from last night said as she came out of Nunong Banoy’s nipa hut
“Good morning” Darxi said greeting her
“And good morning to you all” she greeted back as she walked towards outside “Come with me” she added motioning her hand. We all walked along with her, she led us along some woods where I hear so many people talking and everything. I think they’re having fun. It’s just some few trees though.
“This is the other side of the village…” she said “Everyone’s here to celebrate your success and our freedom” she said
“They already knew?” Elliot asked
“I already told them because when I went to my father’s hut, you guys weren’t there” she answered
“Come on… enjoy yourselves” she said and ran towards the crowd. We saw all the villagers having so much fun. They are eating different kinds of food, there are so many foods on the table. The others were dancing along the music that they have been playing with the instruments, some were of the same instrument that I saw Enzo once used.
The children and some young adults are happily playing around, while the others just sat down in an open space talking and laughing with each other.
“There they are!” someone shouted that made everyone stop from what they are doing and turned to us. Literally stopped, as in the noisy ambience suddenly turned into an awkward one.
“Ahhh our heroes! Come and enjoy with us. This is all for you” the man that we talked last time said approaching us “We wanted to thank you for freeing our village from fear, now, eat and enjoy all you want” he added
“Thank you so much…” Raizen said and ran towards the food table and started eating. The crowd went back being noisy again as the party resumed.
