Chapter Five: The Queen And Her King

Mariana whistled under her breath when she took a closer look at the man.
Mr. Benedict Rochester looks so dapper, with his navy blue suit. His dark hair is styled into a pomade, and he looks so manly. He also got a straight nose that ends with a soft curvy tip. Her eyes went down to his lips.
Oh, good heavens!
He got thin lips that can be similar to George Clooney, and he got this well-defined jawline. She never thought that he could be this...hot.
"Good morning... Don't worry, I didn't wait that long. Please have a seat." Benedict stood up and gallanty pulled a seat for her.
She'll give her one hundred points for being such a gentleman.
"Thank you." Mariana lets out a sweet smile, while sitting down.
"By the way, I would like to congratulate you for your stellar performance last night. You really deserved to be called as a Queen." Benedict smilingly congratulated Mariana.
Mariana can feel her heart beating so fast while staring at Benedict's gorgeous face.
"What do you want for breakfast? You can order anything and everything you want." Benedict spoke again.
Mariana snaps out from her reverie when she heard his voice again.
"Oh... Let me think." Mariana started choosing her breakfast from the hotel menu. She opted for a light breakfast, as she doesn't want to feel too full and heavy.
After the waiter took their orders and once they were left alone, Benedict started speaking again.
"Let me formally introduce myself. I'm Benedict Rochester, and I'm the owner of Rochester Hotels and Companies."
"A pleasure to meet you, Mr. Rochester. I'm Mariana Clemente, and I think you already know who I am." Mariana smilingly said in return.
"Let's just drop the formalities, shall we? Please just call me Benedict, and I'll just call you Mariana, okay?" the man suggested.
"That's a good idea." Mariana nodded in agreement.
"And I must say that you look more beautiful up close. Your brown eyes are really amazing, and I will never get tired of looking at your eyes..." Benedict suddenly said.
"I'll take that as a compliment, thanks." Mariana responded.
After talking for about an hour while having breakfast together, Mariana realized that it was almost noon, and she had to prepare for her press conference as the new Miss Supernational USA.
"Oh, before you go, I would like to invite you for a dinner date this evening, Mariana..." Benedict suddenly invited her.
"That sounds nice. Where are we going to have dinner?" Mariana curiously inquired.
"You'll know later." Benedict answered, as he lets out a mysterious smile.
Mariana nodded as an answer, as she is feeling excited at the same time. She is looking forward to having dinner with Benedict Rochester...

Later that evening.
Benedict and Mariana are now on their dinner date. Both of them are at the Rochester's Hotel Rooftop.
Mariana can't help herself but to feel impressed because she can see that Benedict thoroughly prepared everything...
Both of them are walking on a red carpet which is adorned by red roses petals, and there was a table nearby which is decorated with more expensive-looking flowers and candles.
There were also two violinists on the side who were playing a sweet tune on their violins...
At the same time, he saw a table full of expensive dishes.
Mariana was touched by Benedict's gentlemanly demeanor as he cut the steam into small pieces for her.
"I hope you'll like the food, Mariana. I personally talked to the hotel's chef just to make sure that everything tastes perfect." Benedict said with a smile.
Mariana started eating the steak, and her eyes widened in pleasant surprise when she tasted the food.
"This is delicious!" she smilingly commented.
"I'm glad you liked it." Benedict nodded, while looking satisfied.
They've spent their time eating and drinking the best wine...
Mariana is having so much fun with Benedict Rochester and she secretly wishes that this night would never end.
"After this I'll take you to my favorite place. I'm sure you'll like it there too." Benedict suddenly informs her.
"Okay... But where are we going?" Mariana puzzily inquired.
"Let's just say we're going to a paradise." Benedict mysteriously replied.
"A paradise, huh?" Mariana wondered aloud.
After their dinner date, Benedict suddenly received a call from his smartphone.
Mariana is secretly looking at Benedict's handsome face, until her eyes landed on his red lips.
"How does it feel to be kissed by those lips?" she secretly wondered to herself.
She suddenly shook her head, as if shaking those naughty thoughts. She can't believe that she is being naughty just like this!
"What is happening to me?" she asked herself again.
"Are you alright, Mariana?" Benedict suddenly asked her.
"Yes, I'm okay. Anyway, are we going somewhere now?" she decided to focus at the present time, while trying to hide her embarrassment.
"Yes. Let's just wait for a while." Benedict responded.
Mariana had always been practical and level-headed, focusing on her career and ambitions rather than matters of the heart. However, there was one man who had captured her attention like no other - Benedict Rochester.
Benedict Rochester is a successful businessman, charming and sophisticated. He moved in the highest circles of society, and his name was synonymous with power and wealth.
She realized that she was deeply attracted to him. His confidence, his wit, his magnetic presence - it all drew her in like a moth to a flame.
As the night wore on, Mariana found herself in conversation with Benedict. Their words flowed effortlessly, and she felt a connection unlike anything she had experienced before. Mariana suddenly frowned when she heard the sound of the helicopter approaching. Her eyes widened in shock when she finally understood what was going on...
"Oh my goodness! We're going in a helicopter?!" she exclaimed in disbelief.
