I was brought back to my senses when I heard mom’s worried voice. I look up to look at her in confusion and tired eyes. We are currently having our breakfast with the whole family present at the table. This is the first time I have been on the same table as Gen again since I always excused myself for breakfast in order to avoid her.
I know that it is disrespectful but I can’t really manage and swallow properly knowing that my own sister is backstabbing me. She knows everything that happens in school but instead of apologizing to me and helping me things up in there, she still chooses to be one of them. She still chooses to go against me.
