CHAPTER THREE

H

It’s been an hour since Julie left the party.

But here I am, sitting in the corner and still thinking how sweet and soft her lips are.

I just felt it now. It’s like you want to repeat what happened again and again to feel how good it felt.

I can’t deny. Julie is so beautiful. Long brown hair, black eyes, a perky ass and fine boobs.

But it’s not just his physical appearance. There is something about her that I feel drawing near her. I’m drowning. Drowning in thoughts with her.

My mind was shattered when Steph sat on my legs. Steph was a regular f*****g buddy. But I don’t need her now because I only have one on my mind.

So I pushed her on my legs and she immediately stood up and got angry with me.

“What the f**k, H?” she shouts.

“Leave me alone. Not in the mood.” I just shrugged at her.

Laughing next to me was Zach “He’s not in the mood right now, Steph. Because the one he wants to f**k right now has left him. Better luck next time, Babe.” He said to Steph.

Steph immediately looked at me. “Who is she?”

I ignored her but Zach answered her groaning while drinking the rest of his beer, “Don’t know. I know she’s just new here at WSU. He even turned down a threesome just to find this girl for him to do the midnight kiss.” Zach laughs.

And I drink the rest of my drink in one slur. Yes, after I went upstairs with the girls around me. I will never forget Julie. And I know there’s going to be a traditional midnight kiss soon. So I hurried down to look for her. And I saw her in the kitchen, drinking alone. I decided to watch her first. And when the light was about to turn off, I slowly approached her and pulled her so damn near me. The kiss was fantastic. It’s like I have been hit by electricity with my whole body straight in my groin. The thought alone, makes me so hard inside my jeans. I know I won’t get any sleep tonight thinking about that certain brunette.

JULIE

Is this a dream? H was there next to me, kissing me. Softly. Waiting for me to wake up.

I was about to wake up, when I heard Janine knocking outside my room.

“Julie. Wake up. 1st day of school today.”

I’m so sweaty. I don’t know why I dreamed of H.

“Yes, Janine. Coming!”

I undressed and wrapped myself in a towel to take a bath. But when I opened the door of my room, standing outside, there was none other than H. Talk about Wet dreams, huh?

He looked at me from head to toe.

And I forgot that I just took a towel and it was too short. I was shy of his stare so I forced my towel down to lower it.

“What are you doing here, H?”

He smirked. He was about to say something when Janine got out of the shower and looked at H happily.

“Good morning, Babe. You came early.” Janine approached H and kissed him on the cheeks. His gaze won’t leave mine. His gaze was so intense. I was shocked to see what I was seeing. I can’t believe I made out to Janine’s boyfriend. My mouth was opening and closing like a fish. But I cant find a word to say.

Jess came out of her room and she looked shocked as well.

“Oh, how rude of me. H this is Julie. My little sister, but not so blood related sister or something. Julie, This is H, my boyfriend.” Simultaneously hug H’s arm.

H. just stared at me and I didn’t want Janine to think badly of us. So I thought of pretending that today was the day I just met H.

“Hi, I’m Julie.” I shook his hands and I begged with my eyes that he would just do what I was doing.

He smirked.

Oh god, He smirks.

“Hi, Julie. It was nice meeting you.” He smiles straight into my core.

Thank God! He decided not to be a jerk this time. I sigh in relief.

“I better go now, Janine.” I looked at Jess and Jess was laughing inside her room. And I hurriedly walked inside the comfort of the bathroom.

It was Literacy class. The only class I have with Joel.

It was our favorite subject so we decided to sit out front. Joel and I joked about how I caught the two of them at the party last night. Joel keeps pestering me about the details they did in Tau Kappa Epsilon’s bathroom. And I try to cover my ears so I can’t hear when suddenly someone is beside me.

That certain someone, Is H.

His face was dead serious, staring back at me. “Let’s Talk Outside, Julie.”

“I don’t think that’s a good idea, H.”

“Please.. Just one minute..” He pleads. I don’t know, but I think he’s having a hard time saying ‘please’

I sighed “H. We had better not talk. And you know why.”

He sighs in defeat and repeatedly strokes his head, which I think is a sign of being frustrated.

“Hey, Jules. Maybe you should go and talk. I think he was trying to tell you something.” Joel chimed.

“Yeah, Right. We need to talk about the kiss we had last night at the party.” H insisted while looking deeply at Joel, and Joel immediately laughed.

“Who the f**k are you, huh?” H seemed to be angry with Joel for his sudden laugh.

“Hay.” I stopped H and said “Don’t think about that kiss. It’s just a stupid drunk kiss, H. You knew better than that.”

H just stared at me as his jaw clenched.

“Julie, go talk to him,” Joel insisted.

“No, I better not.” I shook my head repeatedly while looking ahead of us.

“I think you should ..”

“No I’m not. Why are you forcing me to talk to the man that is your sister’s boyfriend?” I cut Joel off.

“What?!” They both said in unison.

Both of them were quiet for the rest of the period.

Thank god.

The bell rang. And the faster H stood beside me, the faster he left the classroom.

“Is it true? He’s dating Janine?” Joel asked.

“ Yes,” I sighed.

“God Julie. That’s f****d up.”

“It is.”

The rest of the day goes by quickly. It was lunch time. Peter, Zach and Zeke were eating with me in the Cafeteria. Janine suddenly appeared and sat next to me. She’s too clingy sometimes. We started dating because Zach dared me to see if I could make Janine sleep with me. You see, Janine is like a queen bee b***h here at WSU.And I’m not someone who gives up on the challenge. So here I am today, 1 month after Zach’s Stupid dare.

“Why don’t you seem in the mood, babe?” Janine asked.

“Nothing.” I just continued my meal. “Julie !! Here.” Janine shouted and I suddenly stopped eating.

I looked at her standing in the middle of the cafeteria. She’s so beautiful. And she smiled at our place as they walked over to our table. I did not take my gaze away from her. I follow her every move. But she shows that she is not affected by me.

Peter kicked me under the table and turned his head at the approaching Julie.

“Come here. Eat with us.” Janina invited them.

This is going to be interesting, Julie.

She smiled sweetly at Janine.

The three of them were already sitting. It just so happened that she was in front of me. I won’t stop staring at her until I see any reaction from her. I just want to know that she is also affected by my presence.

“Hello there, fine thing. My name is Zach.” Zach introduced himself to her and she immediately shook his hands.

“Oh boy, Chill out. You’re not going to pass Julie. Because Julie had a 5-year-Medstudent boyfriend at Harvard.” Janine’s bragging. I don’t know but my blood boils that she already has a boyfriend. f*****g 5 years! Why didn’t I think of that? With Julie’s appearance, I’m sure many men aren’t stupid enough not to fall in love with her.

I just looked at her, and she looked at me while smiling like a stranger.

Oh, Julie. You are in a lot of trouble. I smirks her way. A different kind of Smirk. This just fuels my drive for her. I love challenge. Now, I see Julie as a quest.

“So tell us, how did you two start dating each other?” I asked, crossing my arms on my chest.

“Since we were 13 years old,” She answered, but not meeting my gaze she continued to eat her food.

“Interesting.”

“What?” She looks at me. The tension is rising. I don’t know if everyone at this table felt that too.

“Nothing. I just find it interesting. Are you happy?” I asked her with a different motive.

But I underestimated Julie too much. Because Julie is good at hiding how she feels. She continued her meal and smiled sweetly at me. “ Of course, I am happy. In fact, after college we are getting married.”..

I stopped suddenly at what she said. I clenched my jaw. My hand was under the table and wanted to punch something or someone. But I didn’t make it public. So I did where I was good at.

“"Really? It looks like you're happy because you're kissing another man at the party." Arms crossed over my chest. Smirking darkly towards her. Come on, Julie!

“What?!” Janine was shocked. That deepens my smirk. And I can see Julie is angry with me right now. That’s it babe. Be angry with me.

“Julie? Who are you kissing?” Janine asked.

She smiled, She plays better than I expected her. “No, Janine. I was just drunk then. But that’s all. I forgot right away. After, Eric kissed me deeply.” She replied.

That’s it! I’m done, I need to punch some walls or punch this f*****g Eric!

But before I could get up, his phone rang and he answered immediately "Hey, Babe." f*****g, babe. Next time you will call me babe next to you in your f*****g bed. Then I left.
