Summer The day started perfectly. After Tats left, I got a couple more hours of sleep before getting up and getting to the bar. When I got there, I worried that Lizzy either forgot she was supposed to be in today or something because her car wasn’t out front. But walking inside, I noticed some of the lights had been turned on. So I walked back to the kitchen to check and make sure she was there. Poking my head into the kitchen, I found her working away to get the hamburgers prepped for the day. A smile spread across my face. “You are here. I didn’t see your car out front.” Looking up from what she was doing, she returned my smile. “I got a ride in today.” Strange, her parents just bought a new car for her, so why did she have someone drop her off? Eyeing her, I took in for the first time
