Summer     Sitting up in bed, I looked around. Tats wasn’t there. It wasn’t abnormal to wake up, and he wasn’t still in bed with me. He normally had to be up before I did and leave earlier in the morning. But I don’t remember his alarm going off this morning. Voices from the front room caught my attention. I couldn’t hear what they were saying, but I could tell Tats was talking to someone. Laying back down, I tried to go back to sleep, but I had to pee. Sighing, I climbed out of bed and pulled on one of his shirts and a pair of shorts. Stepping out of the bedroom, I found my dad standing in the front room talking with Tats.
