(AZMARIE'S POV)
It was now Sunday and I was packing my bag for the flight. I was too lazy last night to pack.
I didn't really bother in dressing up so I wore some short light brown shorts, white tank top, sandals, and black shades that laid on my head that kept my loose wavy hair out of my face.
Saturday was kind of a busy day, I finished dealing with the hotel about the wedding and of my departure. The parents of the newlyweds paid for everything and thanked me by sending me a basket of muffins which I will be happily taking on the trip with me.
The rest of my Saturday was spent at the salon and nail salon.
I finished packing and pulled my two heavy filled suitcases into the living room and went back into the room to get my handbag and make sure that I didn't forget anything.
I made sure to charge my phone so that I could listen to music and listen to audible while on the flight.
The bell boy brought a cart and set my suitcases along with my laptop bag on it. I rechecked the hotel room for anything I left behind.
I left the room and we walked to the elevator. Maria is supposed to be at the lobby to see me off.
Maria isn't my personal assistant. She was just helping me because she works here in Manhattan and my real assistant Lilly was on vacation. Lilly was to meet me in Tirana where she will be picking me up with Albert.
We reached the lobby and Maria walked up to me and walked alongside me as we walked to the car.
"Here are the receipts for this wedding and payments of everything and how it was divided." She said and I took the file and put it in my bag.
"Thank you." I said and put on my shades just before we stepped out onto the street.
"It was nice working with you Maria and I hope to see you again. You are doing a good job as a secretary at the office and your boss should be here tomorrow." I said, shaking her hand with my empty hand.
"It was an honor to work with the sole owner of everything here." She said, smiling at me and I returned the gesture.
I turned to the bell boy and thanked him all of his good service and gave him a tip before getting into the car and told Albert to drive off to the airport so I could get out of this crowded city.
Albert and I got first class seats and good service once on the plane. I told Albert to wake me up when we landed as I plugged in my headphones as "Don't Tell 'Em By: Jeremiah" came on.
At Tirana.
We finally landed at the Tirana airport and I finished all my muffins that I shared with Albert.
We got off the plane and searched for Lilly because it was her job to find our luggage and have a car ready for us.
"Ms. Azmarie! Albert!" I turned to see my personal assistant running well trying to run over to us.
"There you are." I said, tapping her head as she tried to regain her breath.
Lilly was a petite young girl with blonde hair and violet eyes. She had a bit of curves, and she was always wearing a blouse with a plaid skirt. At some point I got sick and tired of her wearing that so I took her out for shopping and got her a new style that was professional yet cute. She was twenty-one and just finished college.
She was actually one of the few people I leave myself get close to besides Albert.
Lilly and Albert were my closest friends right now because I spend most of my time with them and by now they know me and how I am.
She guided us to a white limo where we all got in, but Albert insisted in sitting up front with the driver.
"So how was your trip?" Lilly asked,
"It was OK. The parents of the couple gave me a basket of muffins." I said and took some grapes from the plate they had in here.
"I'm sure you enjoyed them." She said,
Gosh, sometimes I hated when Lilly was so formal and professional.
"Lilly please stop the whole formal s**t, I'm not working." I groaned,
Did I forget to mention that I had a potty mouth.
Unfortunately, I can't curse on the job, but I still do when I'm not in front of a couple or their family. Well, sometimes when I can hold my tongue.
"Technically you're going to be working in less than an hour because you need to meet your next couple which you happen to know." She state and I glared at her.
"You're giving me a headache." I whined and laid down on the seat.
I barely got any sleep because I had to wake up at four in the morning to pack and get ready for a 7 o'clock flight and I just couldn't sleep through the flight and if half an hour counts which doesn't to me.
We reached the hotel and we got out and waited for the employees to take out our luggage.
"You won't have time to unpack since you meet the couple in twenty minutes." Lilly said as we walked into the cool hotel and out of the blazing hot sun.
"Damn sun hot." I said and was happy when Albert handed me a bottle of water.
We didn't have to go the front desk because Lilly already checked us in so she led me to a conference room while Albert went to rest and enjoy what the hotel had to offer.
We entered the conference room and I was pulled into a bone crushing hug that I knew very well.
"Oh god Lexi. You got stronger." I weaved out and sighed in relief when she released me.
Lexi Roy was twenty-two and had strawberry hair and blue eyes. She was thin and a childhood friend of mine.
"Azmarie meet Charlie." Lexi said, pulled me over to a redheaded skinny girl who was a bit taller than me. She had some pretty brown eyes.
"Hello Charlie, it’s a pleasure to meet you." I said, shaking her hand.
"It’s finally nice to meet you too, Azmarie. Lexi won't stop talking about you ever since you said you'd do our wedding." She said and we all laughed.
"Let's sit. The faster we do this the faster Azmarie can rest." Lexi said and well sat at the table, me sitting at the head chair and Lilly and Lexi on either side of me as Charlie naturally sat next to Lexi.
"So I was thinking of a Victorian style wedding with all the big dresses and tuxedos. Then for the ceremony we would have a mask ball where. Everyone would have to wear masks." Lexi said, getting straight into it.
"That actually sounds girly coming from a girl that is obsessed with sports." I said, leaning up on my elbows.
"Actually, I want the guest party do some activities before the wedding that or may in involve sports." Lexi said, playing with her fingers.
"Nope." I said, shaking my head and leaned back in the chair.
"There is no f*****g way I'm doing f*****g sports. I didn't sign up for sports. So you can make everyone else participate, but not me." I said, shaking my head.
"Would you at least listen first, you might actually loose some of that sweet fat you have." She said and I glared at her.
"I don't have sweet fat " I mumbled, but still listened.
"So it’s going to be for a week and on Monday we'll do stretching and flexing ourselves for the week." She said, stopping to see if I was going to object. I didn't.
"On Tuesday we'd run some few harmless laps around a track." She said,
"Wednesday we'd do some swimming." She said and I didn't have a problem with swimming because it’s the only sport that I like.
"Thursday, we could play baseball." She said,
"And on Friday we'd do some yoga. It’s not bad just some harmless activities that we could do to get in a bit of shape and energized for the wedding." She said as if it was the easiest thing in the world which is for her because she's a gym teacher.
"How much will be in the guest party?" Lilly asked as she wrote down the information.
"About thirteen including you and Azmarie." Charlie said,
"OK. Who are they?" I asked,
"You want me to name all of them?" Lexi asked,
"Yep." I said, popping the 'p'.
"Well our parents, two friends of Charlie's, and you and Lilly and my brother and aunt, and three bride maids." Lexi said,
"Short good." I said,
"Will you both be wearing dresses?" I asked,
"Yes." They answered,
"OK, so I was thinking of planning this wedding outside like in a garden of flowers and butterflies. The alter is in the middle and there are four sides around it where the people sit and both of you come out from either side and meet in the middle." I said, rubbing my eyes.
"Yeah that sounds good, but how will some of the people see?" Charlie asked,
"Leave that to me as I will not be thinking about that right now because I don't want a headache and it’s just an idea, there are many more ways of the direction and stuff." I said,
"The people will then be led back to the hotel where they'll change in their rooms and I'll get a big room to be styled as a Victorian era." I said,
"It's OK. So where we going to go?" Lexi asked,
"The two of you will be going to get changed and get you hair restyled." I said,
"Tomorrow we'll get into more detail of your looks and the dresses you want. We'll have to give the guest a paper where they'll choose a style and size for a dress and I'll get as much stylists as I can down here to the hotel where they'll fix everyone up the day before the wedding. Everyone must have a dress or tux at least two days before the wedding because I don't want to deal with some missing dress s**t on the day of the wedding." I said,
"OK, I'll be sure that in their hotel rooms there is a survey for the dresses." Lilly said,
"Good, is that all for now?" I asked,
"Yeah. We'll talk tomorrow about the dresses and other stuff." Charlie said and we all got up.
We walked out the room and we went our separate ways as Lilly showed me to my room.
When we reached there, I found my closed bags on the bed ready for me to unpack.
Lilly left the room after handing me the notes that she took at the brief meeting and told me that she'd be here tomorrow morning with breakfast.
I took my time unpacking my suitcases while listening to music which made it easier and fun to do.
"Finally!" I groaned as I fell onto the now empty bed.
I rolled off the bed when I had to shower and eat dinner. So before I showered, I called room service then went to shower.
I wrapped myself in a robe when was I done and went to get dressed.
I put on my underwear and put on a sports bra because my boobies are too big to be left out like that. I slipped into some blue boxers and white wife heater and walked out of the room as my feet felt the nice texture of the carpeted floor.
After my dinner, I brushed my teeth and spent an hour on my laptop playing games and listening to music before going to sleep.
