Hailey practically floated into the café, her cheeks flushed with happiness and excitement. She looked around until she saw Sasha sitting at a table by the window, sipping on a latte and typing away on her laptop. "Sasha!" Hailey exclaimed, making her way over to her best friend. "I have news!" Sasha looked up from her laptop, a smile spreading across her face. "Ooh, what's the news?" Hailey practically squealed with joy. "Ezra proposed to me!" Sasha's eyes widened in surprise, and then she jumped up from her chair and threw her arms around Hailey. "Oh my god, Hailey! Congratulations! That's wonderful!" Hailey grinned and hugged her back tightly. "Thank you, thank you! I'm so happy, Sasha. I can't believe it's real!" Sasha pulled back and looked at Hailey, her brown eyes twinkling with excitement. "Tell me everything! When did he propose? How did he do it? Did you cry?" Hailey laughed and settled into a chair across from Sasha, still giddy with happiness. "He proposed last night, at our favorite restaurant. He had the table decorated with candles and rose petals, and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I cried like a baby, of course." Sasha grinned and leaned in, eager to hear more. "What did he say? How did he ask you?" Hailey blushed as she recounted the proposal, feeling a little like she was living in a dream. "He said that he's been thinking about it for a long time, and that he knows he wants to spend the rest of his life with me. And then he asked me to marry him, and I said yes." Sasha's eyes were shining with tears as she listened to Hailey's story. "Oh, Hailey, that's so beautiful. I'm so happy for you." Hailey reached across the table and took Sasha's hand, feeling grateful for her best friend's love and support. "Thank you, Sasha. I couldn't be happier." They chatted for a little while longer, Sasha peppering Hailey with questions about the proposal and the ring and their plans for the future. Hailey answered them all with a massive smile on her face, feeling like the luckiest woman in the world. As they hugged goodbye and made plans for a celebratory dinner later in the week, Hailey couldn't help but feel grateful for the outstanding people in her life. She had Ezra, who loved her more than anything, and Sasha, who had been her best friend since they were kids. With them by her side, she knew that she could handle anything that life threw her way. And she couldn't wait to start her new life with Ezra as her fiancée.
