Thrown Out

"How dare you raise your filthy hands on her," Lydia yelled and then slapped Hailey. Hailey was still trying to explain herself when Ezra punched her in the stomach, she fell and cried in pain. "I need her to leave this house", Sasha said. Hailey sat on the floor as tears streamed down her cheek, this was supposed to be her perfect life, with her husband in their perfect home. "You are leaving this minute", Ezra said, then grabbed Hailey and threw her on his shoulder, went to her room and threw her on the floor. "Pack your rags, you are leaving this house", he commanded. Hailey got up from the floor, feeling pain all over her body. She then opened her wardrobe and brought out all her clothes, packing them in her box. She was done it her clothes, and she went out to pack her jewelry, but Sasha came out suddenly and snatched the jewelry box from her. "A filthy thing like you shouldn't own any jewelry", she spat. "Can I at least pick some of my parent's stuff", Hailey pleaded? "No!!! You are only allowed to go with your rags", Lydia responded. "If she is done packing her rags, please escort her to the gate", Lydia said to Ezra, then left for her room." Carry your things and leave", Ezra said while pushing Hailey out of her home. At the gate, he pushed her into the street and threw her bag on the floor, then locked the gate. "Don't you ever open this gate for this b***h," Ezra said to the security man. Then went inside with Sasha. "Finally, that b***h is gone," Sasha said, feeling excited. Hailey sat on the street weeping profusely, she lost everything her late parents ever worked for." How could I have trusted Ezra, I was stupidly in love with that beast, and now I have lost everything my parents left behind. Where will I go from here, she thought. I can't go to my aunt she will be very disappointed in me, Why did I sign those papers without reading them?," Hailey sat down, regretting her actions. Hailey shivered in the chilly night air, her thin jacket offering little protection from the biting wind. She hugged her knees to her chest and closed her eyes, hoping that she would somehow wake up from this nightmare. But the reality of her situation soon set in; Hailey felt a wave of despair wash over her. She was alone, homeless, and had nowhere to go. As she lay there, Hailey could hear the distant sounds of traffic and the occasional footsteps of passersby. She wondered what they would think if they saw her lying there, sleeping on the street like a stray animal. She felt angry and hurt, but also guilty for causing so much trouble and for trusting the wrong people, Sasha her best friend and Ezra her childhood crush. Hailey tried to push the negative thoughts from her mind and focus on the present. She had to find a way to survive and make it through the night.
