As soon as I got back to my office, I went straight to the bathroom for a quick shower. I took my running clothes off and threw them straight into the dirty clothes hamper.  Because I was often at the office late, I had practically made a home here. In these four corners of my office, I could shower, eat, sleep, and drink whenever I feel like it. This was completely different and a major step up from where I began.  If you could see the old place I came from - a grimy and shabby apartment by a very suspicious neighborhood, you would know just how far I have come.
