Seducing men
****************
Navir led the guards for patrol as he did every day through the same path, which led to their patrol ground, where they would either have sword fights for training purposes or try to win a fight against the crown prince before they returned to the castle, which would be about the break of day.
Navir led them through as they rode on their horses when suddenly he stopped, therefore making the guards behind him halt their horses as well, a few gaining a neigh from their horse.
He paused for a while, and when he didn't feel it again,he tried riding his horse.
That spark, that tingling feeling, left him restlessly yearning for more.
Shutting his eyes briefly,he breathed out before redirecting the direction of his horse.
"Your Highness?"
A confused tone came from Zaphron, who was as lost in confusion as the guards behind him.
"You're on the wrong path. This leads through the village market."
Zaphron's confused face wrinkled even more when Navir acted like he didn't hear what was just said and continued the path towards the village market.
Seeing as the prince always did things out of the contrary book,he britted his horse, following the prince; therefore, the whole guard changed their course as well.
*************
Navir had no idea what kind of mixed emotions he had when he was halted by a fish stall the moment he saw her standing a few feet away by a nut stall.
The spark, which he had felt faintly before, seemed like it was exploding into bits, creating a sense of tingling sensation.
It felt foreign and new, but it definitely felt pleasing.
He gulped slightly before unmounting his horse, giving it two small pats by the neck before taking steps towards the woman, who currently had her head bowed in respect.
Coming to stand before her,his face frowned upon seeing what she was in.
He could barely call them rags if they were compared to what he called clothes, and this alone gave a mixed feeling of displeasure, which oddly wasn't from him but from something inside of him.
That thing in him usually took control over his rational thinking whenever he lost himself in it.
It was reckless, brutal, and usually didn't think logically; rather,it used an animal-like instinct, so as a referral,Navir called it his beast, because that was the only suitable name for whatever that was, and presently standing before its mate, the beast was raging and banging at the top of his head to be let out at the displeasure it felt from what his mate was in.
"Lift your face"
He cursed himself immediately, because he didn't mean to sound harsh, but his beast was currently awake and annoyed.
Her petite figure shivered slightly, and Navir didn't miss that action before her head rose up.
Razia was beyond scared at the moment. Was she going to be executed for the earlier disrespect she showed by staring at his royal highness?
Her fears clouded her head even more when he harshly asked her to life her face, and obediently, she slowly did, and for a moment there, she would've sworn she saw a tint of gold flicker through his eyes for a quick second.
Even though her body was shivering slightly from fear, she couldn't help the thoughts that immediately clouded her head. Immediately, her eyes made contact with such beautiful hazel eyes.
His hair was long and as black as night, and his skin was slightly pale but as fair as buttered milk.
She had heard stories about the fourth prince of Vatrish, but all those rumors couldn't sum up to what she beheld at the moment.
He was the perfect combination of handsome and beautiful.
Such feminine features, but at the same time, manly features balanced it perfectly.
"What is your name?"
She was cut off immediately, and his voice registered in her head.
***************
Seeing her trembling frame before him,Navir cursed himself within once more, and this time he tried taking another approach, which failed once more as she shivered at his question.
"R..Razia gravandor your Highness"
Her voice trembled, earning a disapproving frown from Navir, who was losing himself to his beast, which didn't like being feared by their mate.
He could feel his beast etching from the side of his head, wanting to take over, and at that moment,he knew this wasn't the time to talk to his mate.
Reluctantly,he turned around, taking a step while fighting with his beast, who didn't want to depart from their mate.
He walked over to his horse.
Mounted it and britted, changing it's direction back to their actual route, which led to their usual training ground.
The guards could only follow behind, not understanding a bit of what went on inside this insane prince's head.
*******************
Before sunset would even dawn on Sunday, news had already spread like wildfire over the prince's appearance in the market.
It was rare to see the prince in places such as that, and only on rare occasions have some even set eyes on any of the princes of Vetra.
The news circulated all over town, and soon enough, word got to Fina, who doubted it at first, laughing her eyes out at the petty jokes of her friends, but after hearing from some other villagers, jealousy was beyond what she felt.
She reported to Ellen, making sure to twist the story to her very liking.
**********
"Get up!!!"
Ellen yelled to Razia, who was currently crying while feeling the stinging pain from the slap she just got.
"I sent you to the market to get groceries, but instead of groceries, what do you do? Do you go about seducing men? Huh?......"
"No, mother, I..."
SLAP!!!!
Razias small frame thumbed to the ground once more as her cheek felt like four bees had just stung at it.
"Shut up!!! You don't talk when I am talking. Understand?."
"Now go to the kitchen and wash those dishes."
"Y...yes mother"
Razia's voice cracked with tears. Rolling down her cheeks as she walked out quickly.
"Ungrateful slug"
Elen muttered beneath her breath as she watched Razias frame disappear to the kitchen.
She couldn't help the anger that boiled in her when she found out about the crown prince's encounter with that witch.
People like them could only wish or dream of encountering royalty, and she couldn't help but wish it was her daughter who had that privilege, but to her sour luck,it was this little witch who lived in her house.
