Sometimes life doesn't go the way we planned. One minute our whole future is mapped out for us; written into law. Next, everything is ripped right out of your hands. That is what happened to me. I was promised everything. I was to be a queen! There would be nobody to order me around except the man I was supposed to marry, and even he seemed decent enough not to treat me like a slave. Everything was planned and set to take place. We had already met, slept together over a dozen times, and were genuinely excited to get married. Start our mated life together, and even conceive the perfect full-blooded royal children. They would have been powerful and beautiful. What more could a king and queen ask for in their heirs?
