Leaving Amelia in the medical facility was harder than I’m willing to acknowledge. The need to be next to her and protect her from everyone and everything was so strong that it almost made me sick, but I refuse to let these urges rule me. I refuse to subsume to this f*****g mate bond. I will fight it.
