Alexander POV.
Running back home felt like a moment, even if it took the usual few hours. My mind kept replaying what I saw in the lab… what they did to her.
Fuck.
Anger started to rise inside me again.
Before I even knew it, we reached the edge of our pack land. We stopped to pick up clothes from one of the little cabins that we built alongside the edge of the pack territory, so when we came back we wouldn’t need to walk around naked.
I grabbed a pair of sweats, t-shirt and shoes from the stacks of clothing and changed into them. While I was doing that, I mind linked Mat, letting him know that I was home. Telling him to meet me at the pack house.
He answered with a quick sure boss, and so now I was walking home in my human form.
To no surprise, I found him waiting for me outside. H
