I woke up feeling a warm body next to mine. That was not something I had ever experienced. Enjoying the new experience, I snuggled close to it, I felt so warm, cozy… and safe… I felt truly safe. For what felt like the first time in my life, I felt safe.
After weeks of being in our wolf form, I opened my human eyes and enjoyed the warmth from the other body on my skin. Taking a deep breath and feeling happier… well than probably ever, I let myself relax.
