"What would you have done if it was your mother or your sister in my place?" She asked calmy. "Would you have let your sister go back to her tormentor who was the reason behind her nightmares?" She again asked in a calm manner.  He looked at her with shame and guilt. He hated himself for doing that to her. He hated himself for being so blind, for not being able to see the goodness in her. He hated himself for easily being manipulated and falling into someone's trap. His eyes glistened with tears as he looked at her in a pleading way but she just looked at him with a blank expression.  She looked like a warrior, correction she was a warrior,  a queen, his queen. Yes she was his and only his until his last breath. "No matter what you do or say but I refuse to go back to those who were the reason behind each and every scar on my body including my heart. I may be forgiving, I may be kind and loving but when it comes to a woman's self respect and dignity then no relationship is worth sacrificing".  The same eyes that were once filled with love for him were now empty. He wanted to see the same love for him in her eyes as he has for her. He craved desperately for her love, her attention. He needed her and only her.  Her family sobbed in the background. Her brothers looked down in shame and regret for not being able to protect their baby sister. They hated themselves for raising their hands on an angel, who did nothing but love them. Her Mother cried in her husband's arms for failing her only daughter, for not being a true mother to her. Her father teared up in shame of not being able to protect his daughter's self respect, for not being able to stop all the suffering she had to tolerate, for not being able to be their for his princess when she needed him the most.
