Self-bondage for me is probably at the low end of what is practiced among most people who enjoy the process. What I mean by this is that I am not interested in being hopelessly bound and gagged in the tightest possible manner. My interest is more, I think, ethereal. I enjoy the idea of capture, slavery, servitude under some handsome brigand or desert chieftain, but in carrying out the fantasy, I want the bindings to be loose and more symbolic than actual.
