Blackmail
Dr. Hank Lyman — just his name made her tremble. She hardly knew the man, but his reputation as an intense and demanding administrator caused her to worry the minute she was asked to report to his office.
Nurse Nancy knocked on his door, and peered inside when she heard him say, “Come in.”
With eyes as wide as saucers, she tiptoed gingerly inside, blushing a bit as she did while managing an engaging but tentative grin.
“Miss McCarron, come sit down,” Dr. Lyman warmly gestured.
