Mary stepped in, her tone gentle yet firm. "We planned to reveal the truth to him soon," she interjected, her eyes meeting Azriel's. "We've been slowly familiarizing him with stories about our kind, our king, during bedtime. Plus, Lora can’t shift, and I am in the same situation.
