Aria's POV
"Welcome back, Ari!" Sophia squealed when I entered the kitchen and pulled me into a hug.
I smiled even though my eyes were weary from not having enough sleep because I had missed her company.
Pulling back, I looked around and saw the other maids murmuring but not coming any closer and my smile dropped.
Looking around, Sophia rolled her eyes and pulled me out of the kitchen into the hallway.
"You look like you should be back in the infirmary. Rough night?" Sophia asked with a sympathetic smile on her face.
I nodded without saying more than that.
