Bryson smiled wryly, "I know it's a long shot. The Brown Group and the Collins Group are both trying to get Hannah. I have a very slim chance of getting her."
His smiling face was a little taut.
Jennifer's eyes glinted. "Come on, everything's gonna be alright."
"Let's drink!" Nydia lifted her can of beer to theirs.
Gloria took another bite of food and said, "I can help. I'm not sure if I can win, but I'll do my best."
She knew there was always someone bigger than her, and she never bragged about her prowess as a race car driver.
