Chapter 9 I sat in my car in the Oakhaven Starbucks parking lot, wondering how long this meeting would take. I hadn’t planned on coming back here. Waiting for the Oakhaven detective to show up, I sat in the parking lot, and I listened to voicemails. There were a few from Noah. He hadn’t called in a couple of days, but I listened to his messages, and resaved them. The voicemails from Oakhaven police were in between his calls. The last message confirmed that we were meeting here today. Two crime scene visits on the same day. One of my client’s, and one more personal.
