Third Person
“Mate,” Eddie blurted without thinking. And without thinking, Kalea slammed the door to her hospital room right in his face.
“Did he just—” Harper began to ask and looked at Benny, whose eyes were black.
“This can’t be happening,” Kalea said, barely above a whisper.
“Kalea, are you okay?” Harper asked when he noticed that she was beginning to tremble.
“Get her back in bed,” Benny all but commanded. Harper nodded and guided Kalea back to bed, and tucked her in.
Eddie, on the other hand, was bewildered and insulted at the fact that Kalea slammed the door in his face without a second thought. As he was about to open the door, it swung open, and Benny came charging at him. Benny pushed Eddie into the wall across the way so hard that there was a hole the size of E
