“I don’t … I don’t understand. What do you mean my Mother is alive?” Eddie asked. Aimee had just finished explaining everything she saw through Eddie’s subconscious.
“We watched her die, though,” Kurt said.
“No, you watched someone that looked like her die. With everything that goes on during a battle, it’s easy to mistake someone for somebody else. That’s what they were counting,” Aimee said.
“But my Father felt it. He felt her die,” Eddie claimed.
“That I cannot explain. Without his personal testament to what he felt or saw, there’s nothing I can really explain on that front. However, with you three having been young at the time, it was easy to fool you.”
“So, Winona’s Dad, an Elder of our region, forced Eddie’s mom to marry him so he could keep her hidden?
