“That’s it?” Hailey asked incredulously.
“Yep,” Kalea replied. Hailey and Harper looked at one another, lost and confused.
“Are you sure?” Harper asked to make certain.
“Yes.”
“Positive?” Hailey asked once more for good measure.
“YES! Unless you want the two hundred whippings!?” Hailey and Harper immediately shook their heads. “Good. So that we’re all on the same page, Hailey, you’ll be my maid. You will wait on me hand and foot. Harper, on top of working with Benny to become a Royal Guard, you’ll also work with the landscaping crew to make sure the Royal Pack lands are in tip-top shape.
