“On your feet!” Eddie stood up and wiped his forehead of the sweat dripping down. It was over sixty degrees Fahrenheit outside, but he was sweating bullets.
Due to being held up by his meeting with Rose and Dawn, Eddie was punished by Benny for being late to morning training. He was forced to do fifty push-ups on his own but in sync with Benny’s count. “Being late is unacceptable, even for you, Alpha Branson,” Benny said with authority. Eddie nodded his head. “You chose to learn our regimen, which means you will face the same consequences for tardiness.”
“Got it,” Eddie replied and caught his breath.
“Go join the others.” Eddie turned around and jogged over to where Harper was standing.
“You okay?” Harper asked.
