Coming back to Rayne Valley after a week had my nerves a total wreck. I was pleased with myself that I had successfully managed to dodge him this time, but what happens when he just appears in town, or we run into each other somewhere. I felt confident for once in my decision to leave it all in the past, but coming back here, even after a week, and knowing that he had been here, I slowly felt that confidence withering away.
Charlie and I had texted back and forth for a couple days, he was my inside man that confirmed they had indeed left town, so I knew I could come home. Charlie tried telling me I should really think things through, but I don't think he even knew what he was talking about, I think it's just part of his nice guy act.
