Third Person’s POV At Magnus’s penthouse in London Magnus is going through some papers sitting on his king-size chair and was sipping his coffee when he got a notification on his phone stating that his flight was delayed for three hours. He was about to call his secretary but he remembered the deal which he has to sign in Switzerland so he ignored it. He was deep in thought when Louis entered his study and sat in front of him. Magnus didn’t turn to him but he knew he is waiting for him to say something so he started, “Louis, I am leaving for Switzerland tonight.” Louis was shocked to hear that because Fiona is missing and his elder brother is telling him that he is leaving the country so he asked, “Then what about Fiona?” Magnus looked at her blankly and asked, “What is about her?” and stood from his chair and walked to the refrigerator and drank some water, and turned to Louis instructing further, “You have to make sure that dad never reaches out to her.” “But Magnus, how will I do that?”, Louis inquired and Magnus took his seat back and forwarded a black and golden card to him saying, “Here is my card, use it however you want. But don’t disappoint me.” Louis' face lit up like a lamp seeing the card and he excitedly grabbed it and promised, “Don’t worry brother.” Magnus nodded and left his study. —-- The lavish knight mansion was spread in a large area and was looking calm unknown to the fact that soon a storm is coming to fill the entire house and the mansion will be upside down. The servants are working and everyone is busy with their work. Maids are doing the cleaning, the cook is busy chopping the vegetables while the head maid is busy supervising everyone. Mr. Edmund Knight is working in his study with his assistant Arina. They were busy in their project discussion when they suddenly heard a loud creaking voice calling, “Edmund? Edmund, where are you?” “f**k”, Edmund cursed and turned to Arina who was smilingly and ready for her work. She nodded to Mr. Knight saying that “let me see” and left the study. She stepped down the stairs hurriedly and greeted the girl standing in front of the servants. “Hello, Ms. Brink” and the woman turned to her. Lily Brink is in her late twenties and a spoiled child of their parents. Her dad is the respective minister in London and in a blink of a finger gets everything for her. She never struggled in her life and that is why she doesn’t like to hear a ‘no’. She was chosen for Edmund by his parents and she immediately agreed because she knows he is the most successful billionaire in the country and he has a huge business that is spread in many countries. She was wearing a black bodycon dress and her lips are covered with red bold lipstick. Her boobs were popping out of the dress she was wearing and anyone tells by looking at her that she is full of plastic. She was fuming in anger and waiting to hear what Arina wanted to say this time, “Miss Brink, Sir is not at home.” She pointed her finger at Arina and walked towards her which made Arina take a few steps behind and she said, “I have been coming here continuously for the last ten days but he is not available. Let me know where he is?” “How would I know that?”, Arina replied calmly though she was shivering from inside she managed these kinds of situations many times so she knew how to hide her fear. “Listen I know he is trying to hide from me but let me make it clear I will not spare him.”, She yelled in warning and Arina replied smilingly, “I will convey your message to Mr. Knight.” Lily turned back and left the mansion tapping her heels on the floor. Arina turned and was about to bump into Edmund but she noticed him behind her and took a step back and said, “Sir, she is getting dangerous day by day. I am afraid she will attack me someday.” Edmund replied and took a sit on the couch and replied calmly taking the sip of the water that the servant just served him, “Don’t worry. I got an idea. Now you don’t need to handle her.” “Idea?”, Arina asked standing in front of him and he replied, “Yes, I am taking an apartment in a middle-class area. She will never doubt me living in such a place.” Arina frowned and asked, “But, Mr. Knight, how will you live in a place like that? You are used to living like-” but Edmund interrupted her saying, “I know that. But I will manage that. After all, right now my first priority is getting rid of this Lily Brink.” “Yes sir.”, she said and Edmund thought in his mind, “I will never marry this w***e, Lily.” ------- Currently, Fiona is sitting on the balcony of her hotel room and thinking about the things which could help her father to reach out to her. She knew her father has tons of contacts in London and she won't be able to hide for long. She was lost in her thought when Sophia the cleaning staff came and greeted Fiona. Fiona stood and sat on the bed and asked Sophia, “Sophia, I need your help.” “Tell me, Ma’am.”, she replied politely and Fiona asked hesitantly, “I need an apartment for me. I can’t afford to live in the same place for a long time.” Before Sophia ask her anything else Fiona continued, “My parents could reach out to me easily.” “I will see what I can do for you, ma’am.”, Sophia said and Fiona acknowledged her, “Thanks, Sophia.” After that Sophia completed her work, promising Fiona to let her know about the apartment. ------- Edmund easily found an apartment in the XYZ building with the help of his friend Alex. He settled everything in his room which was not a difficult task because the staff helped him in shifting here and promised that they will never disclose this place of his to anyone. Once they left his apartment, Edmund sat on the bean bag and gulped his drink, and started talking to himself, “Finally I am here.” “I will be safe now.”, He said and switched on the plasma TV and thought, “Now, no one can reach out to me. That Lily Brink will get mad searching for me and then I will be free.”
