Thunder rumbles just past what she can’t see. Wicked eyes gleaming, their bodies begin lunging swiftly to her. Raine keeps her blade low and out by her side, moving only when she needs to. Slicing the lit sword through the flesh of each shadow made the creatures sputter into smaller pieces of it’s being.  Raine, at first, misses their rebirth, sending her on a constant raging battle at her feet before she can look up to see others charge at her. Each time she hacks through another, these creatures need to be dealt with.  They’re small but just as dangerous as the others. “Don’t let them touch you,” Melchoir growls earnestly. “They’ll end us.” Chills run up her arms at the thought of her mortality.
