Dealing with her colleagues was worse than her struggle to get out of the company contract. They kept sending her messages and calling her. It started to get annoying after her call record was painted red with missed calls and her text with Gia was at the very bottom.
Those same people never contacted her on a daily basis, but as soon as she took a break, they couldn't keep calm at all! Elinor ignored the messages and calls completely and went to get some breakfast.
She saw Alex on the way out and stopped to greet him. Alex was a bit busy so he did not stop to talk more. Elinor soon found out that Alex was running an errand for the Alpha and had to leave the pack for a while.
