Ella shivered as she finished the last of the preparations that she could for the night. The wind had picked up until it was howling. The snow was falling steadily now and had begun to stick. This was going to be a difficult night. The first thing she had done was pack and wrap the wound on Ty’s head. Jayden had slipped a poultice into the bag as well. Mallory or Thomas must have given it to her. After figuring out how Ty’s sleeping pallet worked, she had tucked him inside it.
