“You need to take it easy for the next few weeks,” Ben said, rising to his feet. “I’d like to do a complete physical exam if you don’t mind. I’ll need to do further research on some of the diseases we have and look into whether they are contagious to humans. This is going to be complicated due to the fact that we don’t have any case studies. I don’t want to give her any kind of medication that might have an adverse effect.”
“I am healthy,” Ella stated, lifting her leg to rub her ankle. “You are as bad as Thomas.”
