Scarlett The soft snick that came from my bedroom told me that Ghost had sneaked back inside from a window. I was irritated that he wanted to eavesdrop on whatever passed between Tina and me, while he remained so secretive about everything that was him. My eyes sharpened on something that wiggled under her jacket. And a second later Tina hissed as Fudge clawed at her top and finally wiggled her way out of her clothes. “What the—” I snapped in confusion and… “Were you kidnàpping my cat?” I asked, my eyes wide with disbelief even as anger burned inside me. Fudge came scrambling toward me and climbed up my body, until she was curled in my arm. “Are you just going to stare at me? Why the hell were you sneaking into my apartment?” Finally she stood up and glared at me with those green eyes.
