As the class ended I glimpsed Liam, Chase and Trace standing outside waiting for me and Ash, who was already making his way out. Alex walked to my seat and placed another paper on my desk, this one I recognised was the one I had submitted, and without waiting he turned around and left. I didn’t get a chance to look at my grade as slim manicured fingers splayed down in front of me on the desk as Valentina slapped her palms down and stared at me.
