As I left the Alpha's office I spotted Beta Abel.
"Isaac, may I have a word with you?"
"Yes, Beta." I have a huge smile on my face.
"What did the Alpha and you discuss? If you don't mind me asking. I think he is trying to throw me a surprise party and I told him I didn't want one. He does this every year." Really?
Does he really think I am that naïve? I know I'm still a kid, but give me some credit. "No, he didn't mention a party. He did tell me not to pay you too much mind. You have been just as stressed about finding the Luna as he has. I hope to find a friend as good as you are to the Alpha. Is there anything else Beta?
