What the hell? So I have been engaged to him since I was eleven?? That's messed up. My face turned red and I don't know whether it's because I am embarrassed or because I am mad.
"You knew I was only eleven, right?" nagpahid ako ng bibig gamit ang table napkin.
"Does it matter? We are already married."
He was clearly dismissing the fact that we have been engaged for a long time. "Did you... did you plan to go to Mexico and see me?"
"I wanted to go for vacation and you just happen to be there," he said plainly. He toyed with his food and a few seconds later, he took a sip of his coffee.
