TODAY IS MY father's surgery. The doctors told me that it will take about three to five hours to complete the operation. Dad is at risk of stroke during the surgery and also, temporary swelling may happen. It's risky but the doctors said that his chances of survival is good. That put my heart and mind at ease at least even thought I am so nervous.
Mom could not stop praying and has been holding her rosary since she woke up this morning. As for my husband, he has an important meeting to attend but will be here as soon as he can. He tried to reschedule it but the client is only available today and it's a big account. We still have to make money no matter how much we have in the bank.
