Waking up, I stretch my limbs. My body feels stiff like I have been in the same position all night, yet I also feel lighter, and happier than I have in ages. I feel someone move beside me, feeling their warm skin against mine and I know it’s Tobias.
That’s when everything comes crashing back to me. Sitting upright, I look around the room and realize we are in our bed, Theo is nowhere to be seen. I sniff the air, smelling for his scent, yet I find nothing except the smell of Tobias. My gums tingle as I breathe in his scent. Tobias wakes startled and I realize my growl is louder than I thought. He stares at me and smiles, and I feel anger boil up before spewing over and I’m suddenly on top of him.
