SHRIEK echoed in the cabin. It was followed by the hearty laugh of a woman.
“Damn you! Get out!”
A boisterous laugh went on.
“You always do that. Can’t you use the door like a normal human being?”
“I’m not normal.” The woman answered with a laugh.
The male groaned in annoyance.
“Where is my baby girl?”
Two sets of eyes turned to the person who ran to the living room. The muddy brown ones were full of gleam while the darker one was of irritation.
Former Gamma Seth has his eyes wide as he looked around. He grinned widely when his eyes met the orbs of the young woman.
It was the same shade as his eldest child.
“Gramps!”
The body of his granddaughter jumped into his arms. He circled his only granddaughter in the air.
“I miss you, Janni. Where’re your parents?”
