The day after being discharged from the hospital, Ophelia decided to go into work, However once she stepped foot into the office everyone crowded her. They were giving her hugs and well wishes. By the time she got to her office she was already exhausted. A knock at door made her look up. Her boss was standing there with his arms crossed.
"Bartleby! What are you doing here? I put in a request for time off for you, go home!" Ophelia sighed. "Yes sir." He had given her no choice. The swelling on her face had gone down alot, however her black eye was still there albeit a yellow and purple in places and it was now beginning to throb.
