I made my way forward through the thick jungle, stepping over logs and moving through the vines. There was sort of a path, but it was hard to tell which way to go. I looked behind me to see how far I'd gone from the lagoon, but all I could see was jungle. I had evidently walked through one of those magic Traveller portals and was now in an entirely new place. I was contemplating my next move when Lance's voice boomed through the air.
“Don't dawdle, Miss Phoenix, your Challenge lies straight ahead. Just keep walking, and you will find it. We’re looking forward to a great show. Bye for now!"
The voice fell silent, I moved forward. A few minutes later I found myself at the edge of the stream I'd seen on the big TV screen. I stood a few feet back from the bank of the water and survey
