"Are you sure, Sir?" Melodie looks at him, the worry on her face nothing compared to his.
"Yes, baby, not saying it will be easy to sit and watch, but I would rather be here and know you're safe." He kisses her gently as she nods, smiling. "I will be by the stage. Just save some energy for me."
Nodding, Melodie smiles, watching as he walks off.
"He does know tonight, right?" Carina looks at her, concerned.
"He does, I explained over and over. I never had issues dancing with him watching before." Melodie smiles.
"Yet now you do? Why?" Carina looks at her waiting.
"Because that was on stage, or the guy on the chair, not touching. This is totally different, and while it is safe, just as safe as the rest, it feels wrong me doing it with him watching."
