She carries on driving, glancing at the clock. It is midnight. There is no way Jax hasn't tried calling her yet, and she is still twenty minutes away. Her head shakes. He will kill her, no doubt, because he will be worried.
Jax wakes. It is a quarter to twelve. He shakes his head and walks around the house, looking for Melodie. Taking out his phone, he tries calling her, but it goes to voice mail. She never works this late at the club. He looks around him, panicking. Walking to Oscar's room, he goes straight in. Oscar sits up, looking at him in confusion.
