And since I am not a princess anymore, and Kira who took care of me is not with me anymore, I asked Storm to teach me some house chores.

He is in charge of protecting me and not taking care of me so I can't just depend all the house chores on him.

Besides, he is also busy helping our neighbor with everything he can in exchange for some fish that are directly caught by the fishermen and some vegetables that are freshly picked in their backyard.

Money is not really needed here. It is actually useless here because people are not using it to get everything they need everyday.

If they need food, they will just go to the sea to catch some fish. Or picked vegetables in their backyards. They also have their own source where they can get their livestock like pork, chicken or beef.

Fruits are also easy to find on this island.

The water source came straight from the well that the residents dug. And to have some light and electricity, Realla gives them solar panels so they don't have to worry about paying their bills.

"How long are we going to stay here?" I asked Storm while he was preparing our dinner. I don't know how to cook so I only do the dishes, cleaning the house and washing my own clothes. While Storm was the one who took care of our food, from getting it to cooking it.

"Until the king finally clears your name," he said. "Or when Seventh Sector finally seized the whole Vitale mafia who was still out there looking for you." He looked at me. "Do you want to go home already?"

I nodded. "It has been years ever since I got exiled by the palace and all I want is to clear my name and come back to my family."

"I was just curious," he said. "Did you ever get mad at your siblings? I mean, they didn't even try to protect you when you got framed by the people who were working under them, right?"

"Well, if we are some ordinary people, I might curse them to death," I said. "But I know what has been happening inside the palace. Even though Leaster and Realla wanted to do something to help me, they can't. My brother is the king. He needs to be fair with his judgment and base it on the evidence that was presented to him. His own opinion is not really important, especially in the crimes of treason. His hands are tied with the situation when I was in trial.”

"If he didn't punish you, they will see him as an incompetent king who let his emotions dictate him," he said. "And that could result in another dispute inside the palace from the people who wanted to throw you."

I nodded. "Then, Realla might not be the queen but she is also in a tight situation because she married a non-citizen so she is not allowed to get involved in the trial even though she wanted to help."

“Oh.” He nodded. "Now I understand why you are not mad at them."

"Also, how can I be mad when Leaster hired you to save me from Kira and now doing everything he can to clear my name."

He smiled. "Well, I am glad that you understand your siblings because to be honest, I was thinking of what might happen if you didn't really want to go home to your family and you wanted to stay with Kira."

"Did you even think that I wanted to stay with him?"

"Yup," he answered. "From what I heard, you willingly go with him and live in his house. You also became his girlfriend and I don't see any signs that he forced you. The only thing he did that you didn't approve of was leaving the country. So, I think you can't really blame me for thinking that you might want to go back and stay with him since he was the one who took care of you after the palace threw you out.”

Well, he is right. I can't really blame him for that. And he is also right that I willingly come with Kira to his home.

"Kira is actually nice to me," I said. "He never really forced me to do anything. I stayed with him. But that was right after I learned his real identity." I couldn't help but wrapped my arms around myself as I remembered the time where I saw Kira as a monster.

"You witnessed him killed?"

I nodded. "Someone sold him a woman with her child and those people tried to escape but got caught before they could even reach the gate. And without saying anything, he just started to beat the woman in front of the child. He even made sure to hit her in the face and—” I stopped talking when I felt Storm's hand in my shoulder.

"You don't really have to describe it," he said. "I know how he did things to the people who opposed him. He is famous for that kind of thing.”

"He is ruthless." I couldn't help myself but cry as I remember how Kira tortured that woman. How he even laughed at her situation. How he even mocked and insulted her in front of her crying child. "He is a cold blooded monster that pretended to be nice in front of me to make sure that I will stay with him."

And like what I said, Kira was also the reason why I got framed and exiled from my own home and family.

He was the one who thought of that idea because he wanted to create some dispute inside the palace. Especially when he heard a rumor about Leaster stepping down from his position and giving the throne to his younger sister.

Kira also wanted to have power over Avenir so he could do his business here. But that will only happen if he will take down the princess that Leaster was planning to put in the throne.

And after that, he planned to marry his sister to my brother who was being pressured by his official because they are afraid of Queen Zephyria, a woman from the Xermin Clan.

But his plan didn't work out because Leaster chose the Lhen Clan to become his second wife's family.

That is also when Kira learned that I am the princess that he framed and he forced me to get out of the country because he was afraid that I might leave him once I learned that hard truth.
