Chapter 38: Departure

Upon the stroke of noon, the recently stationed maids and attendants in my room, appointed by my father, entered promptly to collect my luggage and assist me in leaving the palace. I haven't grown accustomed to these new servants yet, as I still miss the two maids who passed away. However, I anticipate that in due time, I will adapt to their presence, much like I did when my father assigned the previous two maids to me. They were only present for specific tasks, so pretty much the same, and these two will do that as well. But in truth, I preferred taking care of myself without their aid, especially considering the lack of trust I have for anyone within the palace, especially to this day.
