"I blame myself because I... failed to protect her. If I hadn't left her side that day, she wouldn't have died. Even Estefan, who was preoccupied with eliminating his other siblings that were hunting him that day, blames himself after learning about his mother's death. But neither of us believes that she took her own life," Charlotte explained, holding my hand and giving me a necklace.
