It's been three days. Three whole days, I have not left the room, haven't showered, haven't eaten, I can't bring myself to leave her side, Worried she will wake and im not there, Afraid something else will happen the minute I step out the room,
They had gotten her stable. She had a high fever from the infection in her leg. Dr Mary said it came from all the bites. She had a high level of bacteria in her system.
With her body being so broken down, it ripped through her before anyone realized it. Even with the antibiotics she was being given,
She seems to do better when im close, another reason I dont leave her.
The door opens, and a nurse pops in. Her eyes land on me as she gives a small smile,
