Once they were back, Jocelyn found Kaya and thanked her for Serenity coming to her rescue. Kaya was tired herself. She gave Jocelyn a hug and told her she was just glad she was ok. "I'm going to bed. I'm exhausted. Guys if you are staying then it's your bedtime as well. No goofing off. I'm tired and getting irritated quickly. " Kaya warned the three. "I'm with you. My foot hurts anyway and I really don't feel like walking back" Jay said getting up and started up the stairs. "Hold on, I'll carry you up." Kayden said. Ryker came and wrapped his arms around Kaya and picked her up to carry her to bed.

When they got to Kaya's floor the guys each took their normal rooms for showers and Kaya went into hers. She turned the hot water on and the jets. The water felt so great. She slipped her PJs on and went into her room. The guys were all in their normal places and Ryker had brought up her cup. "Thank you " she said taking her cup and climbing into bed. A movie was already on and the kitchen staff made the guys some popcorn and brought them up some snacks and drinks. "You three are absolutely spoiled. No wonder you never want to go home" Kaya said laughing at them. Each of them had a room on Kaya's floor, and a room at their parents homes. Their clothes and all were in their rooms on the floor, but for a while they have just been staying in Kaya's room. "It was easier to protect her" was the excuse they gave. Whatever it was, it worked and no one said a thing about it. Kaya turned the lamp off on her side and told the guys goodnight. Ryker wrapped his arms around her and out she went.

Kaya woke up to that evil laugh. She looked around and realized she wasn't in her bed anymore either. Kaya saw Elana. She couldn't figure out what she was doing but it couldn't be good judging by the laugh. "I will control their minds and let them do the dirty work" Elana said as she circled a few names. Kaya bumped into a table and a book fell. Kaya froze. Elana turned around and she was eating something, or draining it one. Blood covered her mouth along with chunks of meat. Elana walked over to the table, looked around and picked the book up. She glanced around once again before turning her attention back to the board. Kaya had to get out of there now. She focused on waking up I. her bed. She started feeling dizzy and then the nausea.

Kaya woke up vomiting. Kayden grabbed the trash can and Ryker grabbed her pills. Jay covered his head. He hated watching someone vomit. "Jay leave the room" Kayden yelled." Go get her a sprite or something" "No problem there" Jay said as he left the room as quickly as he could.

Everyone heard a tumble and Jay yelling. "That fool has fallen down the stairs. Would you believe that" Ryker told them. Kaya's stomach began to ease up. "Well at least this is getting better" Kaya said hoping she was done being sick. She nibbled on some crackers while Ryker and Kayden went to check on Jay. As soon as she was feeling better she made her way down the stairs as well.

"Kaya we were just coming to check on you. Ryker said you woke up vomiting again." Victoria asked worried about her. "I'm ok. It passed. I just wanted to make sure I was good so I wouldn't fall down the steps like that dummy" She said pointing to Jay. "Jay are you ok" Kaya asked him."Dr. Anderson is on his way over before we moved him. I think his hip is broken." Kayden said. "Well you can add arm to that as well" Kaya pointed to his arm where the bone was protruding out. Jay looked over at his arm and then passed out. "Are we sure he is my protector?" Kaya asked laughing. Dr. Anderson, Jocelyn and Jeffrey came running in. Jocelyn freaked out when she saw Jay laying there passed out. Jeffrey calmed her quickly as Dr. Anderson checked him over. "Well it is his hip and obviously his arm. Both are going to require surgery so we need to get him over to the OR now. " The warriors came and loaded Jay on the stretcher and took him over to the hospital. "Great, now I feel bad, because he fell getting me a drink" Kaya said pouting. "No he fell running away from the vomiting. That was his fault." Kayden explained.

Kaya went to talk to Heavenly about what she had seen and to also start looking through the books especially now. "Heavenly do you have a moment or two?" Kaya asked her "Why of course I do. What is bothering you?" She asked Kaya. "Well I had another one of those things. And we'll something Elana said and did is bothering me a lot. She was saying something about controlling some people's minds and having them do her dirty work. But Heavenly when she turned around there was blood all over her face and chunks of meat. It looked like she was eating something freshly killed as her human, and that sick laugh makes me want to vomit just thinking about it." Kaya explained. Heavenly looked worried. "After hearing that I am more determined and wanting to look through those books because if she can control minds that is something I need to know about since I will be fighting her in just a few weeks it seems. " Kaya added. "Very well Kaya, let's get to work flipping through the books then. I however would like a friend of mine to help us if you don't mind. She is a white witch. The oldest and most powerful white witch." Heavenly asked. "Of course. the more to help the better" Kaya answered. They went to the study while the others went to wait at the hospital. She asked Ryker to link her when Jay was out of surgery.

They sat at the large table with the books in front of them. Kaya grabbed her cup and took a couple of the pills. She knew looking at that book may put her at risk for one of those visions she had been having. As Kaya looked at the books across from her waiting for Heavenly's friend the books began to float and pages began to turn. Kaya let watching them almost as if she was in a trance. Heavenly observed her quietly not wanting to disrupt what was going on. One book fell open to the table in front of Kaya. Then another fell open in front of Heavenly. The third book landed at a vacant spot open as well and the red book kept turning and flipping pages. Primrose appeared beside Heavenly and she motioned for Primrose to remain quiet and watch. Blood began dripping onto the table and Primrose knew she needed to stop it immediately. "HALT BOOK OF BLOOD. Keep the blood of the dead inside your binds. Open to the page needed to ease our minds!" The book fell to the center of the table open. The blood that had dripped soaked back into the book. Kaya snapped back to what was going on after the book had soaked all of the blood. "She is tied to that book because of her parents. Kaya cannot touch that book. It needs to be gotten out of here immediately"Primrose said and with that the book was all of the sudden in a glass box locked tight. "That will work long enough for us to see what page it is on. Heavenly, you placed Kaya in extreme danger with her handling that book You should have called me immediately when you suspected my sister in on this mess "Primrose was laying into Heavenly. Kaya just tried to get over that Penelope's sister was standing in front of her. "You are That sick twisted witch's sister?" Kaya asked Primrose. "Unfortunately, yes. She turned to blood magic, the worse kind there is. The dead she uses the spells on is trapped in the book. Now Kaya I need to know, in your visions is there always blood dripping, and do you become deathly ill?" Kaya answered "Yes, every time. The first vision was Elana killing the pack and well it about killed me then." Primrose gasped. Then she noticed something around Kaya's neck. "Kaya, where did you get that necklace?" "My mother placed it on my neck in my vision, and she told me to wear it because it will always keep me safe." Kaya explained. "Ahh. Leave it to Hannah to figure a way around the spell. She is right Hannah. Never remove that necklace, especially now and when you face Elana. It will keep you protected from being affected by blood magic." But now, I have to reverse what you do hold in you now. Your first vision was without the necklace and the worse right? And it is getting better but you are still sick and weakened. Is this all correct Kaya"Kaya looked at her worried and shook her head yes. Primrose dug into her bag and brought out a vial. "Kaya with your permission only, may I have two drops of your blood?" Kaya pulled her hand back. "No that is blood magic and strictly forbidden for obvious reasons " Kaya answered her refusing to give her any blood. "Kaya it only becomes blood magic when the person's blood is taken unwilling or if they are tricked. That is why I need to ask your permission to get it for the antidote " Primrose explained. Heavenly nodded at Kaya letting her know that this was the truth. Kaya held out her hand. "Ok then, but only if you swear I am not getting mixed up in something like blood magic. I need to become Queen, I don't need to end up dead for breaking one of the ultimate laws of our worlds." Kaya answered. Primrose promised her that she was well within the laws. Primrose stuck Kaya's finger and placed it in the vial. She added some blue liquid then some clear. Then Primrose began her chant. Blood of the Princess mix and blend. Make the potion to make her mend!" The liquid began to smoke and then it turned bubble gum pink. "Kaya drink this now." Kaya looked at it and smelled it. It smelled like bubble gum as well so Kaya drank the liquid at once."YUCK! THAT IS DISGUSTING. IT DIDN'T TASTE LIKE BUBBLE GUM" Kaya yelled. "I know dear. Looks can be very deceiving unfortunately." Primrose answered. Immediately though, Kaya began to feel so much better. Heavenly noticed her color was returning back to normal. "Good it's working" Primrose said. "Now let's see which spell the book wanted us to find, and then get this dreadful thing far away and buried deep enough to where even the demons can't find it." Primrose and Heavenly looked at the book. They both gasped . So this is what happened to Elana's parents. That dreadful sister of mine!" Primrose said angry. "And by the sound of it possibly even Elana " Heavenly added Primrose looked at Heavenly questionably. Heavenly explained Kaya's last vision to her "You are right then. I wonder if Penelope has-been in control this entire time.?" Primrose asked wondering if that could have been why Elana attacked Hannah in the first place "The only way to know is if she has ever been away from Penelope long enough for the bind to break some. The only one that would have ever seen that though would be her mate and he isn't going to turn on her" Heavenly answered.

"So just to make sure that I understand what you both are saying. Are you saying Elana is not the evil we think she is despite what she has done?" Kaya asked confused. "Well yes." Primrose answered. "If my sister is indeed controlling her then Elana is not to blame. But my sister is. Penelope has had Elana most of her life. And she got her at a very critical point as well. Not only her age but the death of her parents and her pack. Penelope could have made her believe anything at that point. Then as she got older, she would have to poison her on a routine basis to keep her under her spell. Penelope must have tried to use this spell on her parents as well to weaken them and harvest their powers. I believe that is what she is planning for Elana since her parents did not work out and they became blood thirsty instead. "Primrose answered.

"Well isn't that what Elana is starting now?" Kaya asked. Heavenly shook her head yes. "Like you, this blood book called her to it. Her parents death and blood are trapped in the book. Once someone i who's loved ones blood is in the book gets that monstrosity they become blood raged as well. The book itself places a spell that holds that person to it until it can claim their blood" Primrose answered. "So how can we fix it, or reverse the blood rage and the spell." Kaya wanted to know. "That's just it. When that person commits a murder after receiving the book, they are condemned to the blood book. The book gets their blood and the witch gets their soul. But you see that is where Penelope is failing at. She won't comprehend that she only gets their soul because their powers do not lay with the soul they lay in the blood of the person. So the book gets more powerful, not the witch " Primrose explained further. .

"Now this book has to go. " Penelope said as she started her chanting. "Book of blood you must go. Your pages will be locked so the blood can't flow. Past the gates of hell I banish you. So no more damage you may do. Lock these pages and bind it tight. So no mortal or immortal may open with all their might. This book will forever remain close and it shall stay in the place that I have chose" As Primrose chanted the glass box became filled with blood trying to escape and then poof it was gone.

"Well I feel much better knowing that thing is away from Kaya" Heavenly said as Primrose and Kaya agreed. Kaya just thought of something. "The cookies. That is was Penelope is using to poison Elana. They dripped with black goo and they stunk really bad. " Kaya explained. "Yes, those would be it then." Primrose confirmed. .

"I guess the question I need to ask now, is how do we defeat Penelope." Kaya asked. "You don't. Only I can" Primrose answered lowering her head sadly. "It will probably be to late for Elana as well, so you will still need to prepare yourself to beat her." Primrose tod Kaya.
