Lisa frowned and said displeasingly, “Why would he invite you here?”
“Because I am his father and your husband.” Augustus moved further and held Lisa’s shoulder. Lisa startled a bit and then looked at the other parent, all those curious women this time covered their mouth and gasped in shock.
Lisa somehow felt happy the way all the women were watching them with jealousy in their eyes. After all Augustus is the most handsome father in the field, all the men were looking at him unpleasantly.
Lisa felt warm and comfortable in his embrace, she really missed it but her mind was still lingering with Aunt Ena’s words, “Don’t give him hope.”
Lisa took a deep breath and looked at Augustus, “For Simon, we are acting here don’t take it as something else.” There was a hint of warning in her tone.
